Watson Alarms Sponsors Ellon Rotary Charity Golf Tournament
Watson Alarms were delighted to once again support a very important fundraising event in the calendar of Ellon Rotary.
The Charity Golf Tournament was held on Sunday 28th September at McDonald Golf Club, and this year was another massive success resulting in a record amount being raised. This is only possible thanks to local Companies like us providing sponsorship and in turn supporting the local community.
Although Watson Alarms have no budding Robert MacIntyre’s (or Colin Montgomery`s for our more senior blog visitors!) taking part there was a high turnout of both members and visitors who benefited from an excellent weather conditions on the day.
The funds raised allowed Ellon Rotary to make a donation to both McDonald Golf Club as well as supporting Sandy Aird, the Club Pro, via the golf prize vouchers which were won during the event and will be redeemed in the Club shop by the winners.
The balance of the money raised will be used to support various deserving projects in the local Ellon area. If you know of such a project, please contact Ellon Rotary (see below) who are inviting organisations to apply for one of the Community Grants.

All applicants will then have their project assessed by Ellon Rotary with the most deserving receiving a grant.
