Watson Alarms - New Van Day!

Watson Alarms new van day

At Watson Alarms we recognise the need to keep our vehicle fleet updated and the most recent upgrade resulted in two of our Engineers, Rob and Darren, receiving van upgrades.

Although the distances travelled on the local road network coupled with every combination of weather conditions on a day to day basis which make it feel like a never-ending challenge all our Engineers are encouraged to keep their vehicles clean internally and externally.

The layout and organisation of the storage areas of the vehicles are vitally important as our Engineers are expected to be able to carryout a variety of Fire and Security installation projects as well as preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance visits. We actively encourage carrying a reasonable selection of replacement parts and consumables whilst understanding we cannot have everything. However, what is vital is that the Engineer knows what he/she has and where to find it quickly i.e. `every item has it place`!

There are many benefits on keeping our vehicle fleet current and modern including better first impression with customers, improved fuel efficiency, manufacturers warranties, significantly lower repair costs and less disruption to logistical planning due to vehicles being off the road.

Next on the vehicle upgrade agenda is the Engineer cars before the whole process starts again!
