NSI Surveillance Visit
Watson Alarms had the pleasure of a visit from our National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Auditor to carry out our Annual Security Systems Surveillance Visit. We are proud to say we have been members of NSI for more than 25 years covering all our Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control Systems.
At Watson Alarms we always look forward to our NSI Auditor`s visit as it enables us to demonstrate both our administrative procedures and processes as well as visiting some of our most recent installations. During this visit the auditor selected one monitored intruder system installation at an Art Gallery retail store in Aberdeenshire. The second site chosen for inspection was a CCTV System at a Garden Centre site on the outskirts of Ellon. To complete the full set of disciplines an Access Control System at a Sports Centre in Aberdeen was also inspected.
The surveillance visits allow the auditor, an independent person, to review and advise on various technical aspects of a security installation including survey, system specification and commissioning/handover documentation as well as the actual physical installation.
Any feedback provided by the auditor is always welcome as we are open to learning new things and adjusting our ways to improve or to comply with changes to Industry Standards.
