Watson Alarms wish all our staff and customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

He's at it again!

Watson Alarms adopted festive mascot Elfis has returned and has been busy causing havoc whilst also adding some festive cheer around the office!

Elfis has been `helping` around the office and has occasionally been caught in the act of working. He has fitted out one of our new vans and helped George with some decorating work within the office. However, Elfis, needs to be supervised constantly as he is a lazy so and so and at the first opportunity he is up to mischief. Not content with misbehaving during work time, Elfis, is also a naughty boy at weekends and has been spotted `socialising` at various locations around the Northeast.

As we approach the end of 2023, and we take a step back to reflect on another 12 months at Watson Alarms. This year has seen us celebrate two members of staff, Keith and Olivia, celebrating 30-year work anniversaries. A fantastic achievement for both personally and for promoting Watson Alarms as a great place to work.

Watson Alarms continue to invest in our Employees by providing a combination of internal and external training to make sure we have a confident and competent workforce to serve our customers’ needs. This has resulted in Oliver and Darren growing their individual knowledge and stature and joining the on-call rota! We have also seen Keith and Rob pass Fire Industry Association exams to refresh and enhance their competence on Fire Alarm standards.

During the course of this year our Company fleet of vehicles has seen two new additions with all our Engineers vans displaying our refreshed livery.

It is almost 18 months since we moved into 17 Union Street, in the heart of Ellon Town centre, and there are further developments happening within that we hope to share with you during 2024.

On the business front we are still showing a steady growth of new customers both commercial and domestic. The continued cost of living crisis still makes for a challenging environment for our customers whose budgets are being stretched further and further as each month passes.

Overall, 2023 has produced positive news items which are only possible due to the continued business provided by our loyal and extensive customer base and as well as the hard work, commitment and dedication of all of the Team Watson members of staff which is very much recognised and appreciated.

Watson Alarms and Elfis would like to take this opportunity to wish all our Customers and Staff a Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2024.
